Barbara
Hi! Very nice to meet you!
My name is Barbara and I am a psychologist and an illustrator living in Hungary.
Drawing has always played a huge role in my life and over time this passion grew into a deep fascination with how visual art can communicate emotions, ideas, and experiences in ways words sometimes cannot.
In 2019, I decided to learn everything about digital illustration. Since then, it has become a primary creative outlet for me.
As a psychologist, I have always been drawn to understanding the complexities of the human mind and behaviour.
For me, psychology and illustration are deeply interconnected. In my practice, I see how people express themselves through their emotions and behaviours. As an illustrator, I translate those invisible aspects into something visual and tangible.
Since the summer of 2023, I’ve been working as a full-time freelance illustrator. This journey has allowed me to combine both my love for psychology and my passion for drawing.
I’ve worked on a variety of exciting projects. Being a psychologist adds depth and insight to the work I create, whether it’s for personal commissions, educational materials, or creative collaborations.
Ultimately, both fields enable me to connect with others, understand them better, and express complex ideas in ways that resonate.🧡
